Senior managers in organisations, or middle managers who are looking to develop their strategic skills with a view to widening their current responsibility.
Programme format
The Level 7 Diploma is derived from the National Occupational Standards and successful completion earns delegates 69 credits under the National Qualifications Framework. To complete the CMI Level 7 Diploma, delegates must complete nine units. The programme combines face-to-face workshops, together with extensive online materials and reading lists.
The programme requires attendance at six face-to-face workshops (a total of 14 days). The entire programme will be completed within 12 months. Delegates may join the programme at any time during this period.

7001 – Induction and Personal Development as a Strategic Manager
7006 – Organisational Direction
7010 – Organisational Change
7005 – Conducting a Strategic Management Project
7009 – Strategic Project Management
7002 – Strategic Performance Management
7012 – Human Resource Planning
7003 – Financial Management
7004 – Strategic Information Management.
Delegates will also be required to complete assessments (usually in the form of assignments) for each module.
Delegates will be registered as ‘learner members’ of the CMI and on successful completion of the course may apply to become a full member (MCMI) or fellow (FCMI) of the CMI. Delegates will receive comprehensive online and tutor support from the CMI and the Capita Learning & Development dedicated portal.
