Level 3 Award in First Line Management

Ref: ICFLM
Fees: £2,500 + VAT

Accredited course

The Level 3 Award in first line management is an award that provides an excellent foundation for the new or intending manager. The programme covers a variety of topics, each of which is addressed either through attendance at our courses or by a distance learning package. The assessment is via short answer questions (four sets) and a work-based assignment to round off the process.

Who is it for?

If a candidate has already undertaken one of our existing ILM awards, this may count towards the Introductory certificate in first line management. Please discuss this when applying for this programme.

Learning objectives

The benefit to the candidate’s organisation is that the work-based assignment should be based on real work activities and can be agreed with their line manager to address a current business need. The completed assignment is externally marked by the ILM.

The selection of the topics will depend on the areas which the candidate wants to develop either in relation to their current role, or to a role they aspire to. The selection process will take place either during or shortly after the Induction workshop.
