ISMM Level 2 Award in Basic Sales Skills

If you are new to sales or have never had any formal sales training, the Level 2 Award in Basic Sales Skills will equip you for every sales contact or meeting you are likely to experience! This qualification has been designed in conjunction with the The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management – the professional body for sales people. It is designed to develop confidence through the use of proven and effective sales structures – ensuring that you cover all the client’s requirements and maximise the opportunity for the sale.

Who is it for?

In order to qualify for the Level 2 Award, sales people will need to attend three open courses over the course of one year. The qualification is recognised in the National Qualifications Framework.

The path to the qualification is:

  • Candidate registration and induction
  • Introduction to Successful Sales, 2 days,
  • Presentations Skills, 2 days,
  • Negotiations Skills, 2 days,
  • Assessment and Level 2 Award

Delegates may choose to go on any of the scheduled open course dates but must complete their choice of courses and assessment within one year of registering for the qualification. Successful completion of the qualification will gain three credits under the National Qualifications Framework.
