Designed specifically for senior personnel and employee relations professionals, the PEEL Club provides a cost effective and enjoyable way of keeping you up-to-date with the increasingly fast pace of developments in UK and EU employment law.

Professor Patricia Leighton is a Jean Monnet Professor of European Law at the University of Glamorgan. She is also a Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges, and Visiting Professor of International Law at the University of Hertfordshire. |

| She has researched, trained and written widely on employment law and has undertaken projects for the ILO, the European Commission and the UK and foreign governments as well as several UK organisations including the CIPD. |

Professional qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law
Members are given the opportunity to qualify towards a Masters degree in employment law. This involves completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law – accredited by the University of Glamorgan. To complete the certificate, members must attend all seven meetings, read extra material and complete just three modules over the year. The certificate accounts for 60 points towards their Masters.
Trip to the Brussels to meet leading policy and law makers*
PEEL Club members will have the opportunity to visit Brussels, led by our session leader, Patricia Leighton, to meet leading policy and law makers and key individuals and organisations concerned with employment law matters.
