The PEEL Club - Employment Law Membership Body
For me, The PEEL Club is something really special. I am always delighted that the Club attracts, year on year, enthusiastic, positive and friendly professionals who really add their own unique contribution. PEEL is not like a 'one off' updating conference or seminar in an unfamiliar hotel or other venue; over the years we have all got to know each other, welcoming new colleagues and continuing to enjoy working through the knotty problems presented by employment law. PEEL offers the opportunity for members to develop their skills, gain qualifications through a unique annual 'wraparound' experience.
The Club has evolved over 30 years from being simply an updating service to a membership body that provides continuous back-up in terms of website support, a quarterly newsletter, an opportunity to attend a study visit to EU policy and law making institutions and to meet colleagues from the EU, an annual conference to explore wider and contextual issues for employment law.
The opportunity that combines The PEEL Club attendance with blended learning is part of what makes The PEEL Club unique.
The PEEL Club is for anyone and everyone who is affected or engaged in employment law and practice. This includes HR professionals, legal advisors and trade unionists. The atmosphere is relaxed and co-operative and law is presented in an accessible way, reinforced by quizzes, games, case-studies and experimental learning.
