The course is appropriate for people who are already in the internal communication field and are looking to develop a more strategic approach.
Candidates should have significant relevant experience in internal communication and/or a related professional qualification.
Learning from experience can complement or substitute for academic and/or professional qualifications, providing that candidates can demonstrate significant experience in the internal communication field and the ability to study at a postgraduate level.
- Understanding the issues involved in internal communication and clearly define the role of an internal communications manager
- Managing internal communication and understanding its political significance; using internal communication to facilitate organisational change
- Managing people involved in internal communication, understanding and meeting the different needs of internal customers and influencing people at all levels
- Evaluating the cost of high and low technology methods and media and selecting the right communication approaches to achieve objectives
Participants will be expected to spend a total of 11 working days attending workshops plus 1 induction day. Students are also expected to spend significant time in personal study and preparing assignments.
Payment:
Must be made in full no later than 14 working days prior to the course start date.
Transfers:
The following charges will apply if you wish to transfer your booking to a later course date:
21+ working days before a course = 0% of the course fee
5-20 working days before a course = 50% of the course fee
1-4 working days before a course = 100% of the course fee

Substitute delegates:
You can transfer a place on a course to a substitute delegate free of charge.
Cancellations:
The following charges will apply if you wish to cancel a course:
21+ working days before a course = 20%
1-20 working days before a course = 100%
Cancellations must be received in writing via email to courses@capita-ld.co.uk and must contain the full booking details including
organisation name, booking and delegate contact details.
