This 2-day course will explore the nature of the challenges leaders face in today’s testing times. Working in an exploratory group arena, you will explore what deep purposes you and your organisations can serve. Being a leader is demanding and to be truly effective you have to attend to your own needs as well as the needs of people around you.

  • Recognise the nature of the changes that are impacting on your organisation and respond to them more creatively
  • Develop and utilise skills that will enhance your leadership capacity by enabling you to collaborate more effectively with others
  • Reinforce your ability to ask questions that challenge and motivate your teams
The programme will be experiential, using models, examples and questions to frame understanding and work with material that comes from the lived experience of the participants. It is suitable for senior managers working in the private, public and not for profit sectors.
  • How to use insights to analyse, inform, and improve leadership effectiveness in your organisation and develop leadership roles
  • How to develop agendas that prioritise your own actions and the actions of others
  • Meeting your own needs more effectively and thereby utilise more of your leadership potential
  • How to use questions that attract and motivate people to collaborate to achieve the organisation’s purpose and increase your and your organisation’s capacity for learning and change
  • Perceive your own behaviour as an essential component of organisation systems, and understand how to manage relationships more effectively

Payment:
Must be made in full no later than 14 working days prior to the course start date.

Transfers:
The following charges will apply if you wish to transfer your booking to a later course date:
21+ working days before a course = 0% of the course fee
5-20 working days before a course = 50% of the course fee
1-4 working days before a course = 100% of the course fee

Substitute delegates:
You can transfer a place on a course to a substitute delegate free of charge.

Cancellations:
The following charges will apply if you wish to cancel a course:
21+ working days before a course = 20%
1-20 working days before a course = 100%

Cancellations must be received in writing via email to courses@capita-ld.co.uk and must contain the full booking details including organisation name, booking and delegate contact details.
