Bespoke training entails complete customisation of course content to meet the particular issues that an organisation faces. This involves spending time to gain an in-depth understanding of organisational values and goals.
Case Study: Government Department –Train the Trainer (Time Management for Teams)
In 2006 we designed and delivered a large-scale training programme for the Government. The objective was to train staff to deliver workshops aimed at improving team effectiveness in a time of major change.
The programme aimed at helping individuals and teams to prioritise and manage their time more effectively. Following the delivery of a pilot programme, we worked in conjunction with a project team to design a bespoke Train the Trainer programme.
Outcomes
Through close partnership with the internal project team, Capita Learning and Development successfully trained and supported 57 trainers.
Feedback from the programme was very positive, as was the resultant feedback from the programmes delivered around the world by the newly skilled trainers. 600 delegates have now been through the Time Management for Teams programme.
As a result of the success of the programme, we were recently invited to work with 15 specialist regional trainers from around the world.
