Capita Learning & Development provide a managed services training solution for Group 4 Securicor.
Capita Managed Services has a 3-year contract with the G4S to provide all Management training services to the Group. The relationship between the two organisations has been developing throughout 2004 and was secured in June 2004 when the contract was agreed. The contract covers all 3 key G4S business divisions; Cash Services, Justice and Security Services.
The agreement between Capita and G4S, gives Managers access to the Capita L&D Open Course Programme at a discounted rate. Bookings are made through a dedicated administration team and telephone number.
Capita Managed Services have also provided tailored and bespoke training solutions to G4S. These solutions have integrated best practice management and business content with G4S processes and procedures. Programmes delivered include, Sales Training, Advanced Presentation Skills, Appraisal Skills and Finance Workshop for Branch Managers.
September 2004 saw the launch of the Branch Manager’s Development Programme for 300 managers. The programme is a 5-day residential event and includes modules in leadership, communication, teamwork, delegation and change.
Following the success of this programme, we have now developed a similar programme for the Cash Centres which has resulted in a further 100 Managers and supervisors following a similar programme.
As with all Managed Service contracts, Capita Managed Services has a service level agreement with G4S, which is monitored on a monthly basis. MI is provided each month, detailing critical measures of performance, with the account management team meeting with the client to discuss changes required as appropriate.
