Happy New Year? - What will 2011 bring for employment law?

From 1 February 2011 the maximum compensatory award that can be awarded in an Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal claims will increase from £65,300 to £68,400.  The maximum for a week’s pay (that is used to calculate, for example, redundancy payments and basic awards in employment tribunal claims) will increase from £380 to £400 … and more.
