Outsourcing in these terms is when you transfer an element or all of a service to Capita Learning & Development from your organisation but continue to deliver the service on a contractual basis.

An Outsource typically involves the transfer of staff or services via a TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) process, whereas a Managed Service is the delivery of a service or elements of the learning and development function without the need to undergo TUPE.
There is often a fine line between the two, which many organisations are not aware of, but which Capita Learning & Development, as part of the UK’s leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is fully aware of and expert at handling. In fact nearly 2/3 or our own staff join Capita through either acquisition or TUPE.
