Stuart Lowry is the Training Development Director for Capita Learning and Development.
He is responsible for the design and delivery
of Capita's training solutions and manages a
team of 20 permanent trainers and a carefully selected pool of associate trainers.

Stuart has over 10 years training experience working for a wide variety of companies in
both the public and private sectors, including Schering-Plough, Group 4 Securicor and
UBS. Prior to training, Stuart enjoyed a highly successful sales career working in human resources solutions.

Stuart's approach to training centres on discovery based learning and encourages delegates to think, and pragmatically apply the learning to professional and personal situations. He has a passionate and entertaining style that encourages a friendly and memorable learning experience.

Liz Kemp is a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualified training consultant with 13 years experience of designing and delivering highly successful programmes. 

A dynamic and enthusiastic deliverer, Liz generates commitment from her participants.
 She encourages a high level of participation using a variety of techniques including accelerated learning, solutions focus and
theatre forum, to speed up learning and maximise enjoyment and outcomes.  Liz is
often asked to present at national conferences as a motivational speaker at venues such as
Olympia, the NEC and the Royal Armouries. 

Liz has provided professional expertise
during live and pre-recorded radio interviews
including Radio 5 Live.

Lee Mortimer worked for Barclays Bank, including 9 years as a Business Banking Relationship Manager, providing an
insight across a range of industry sectors.
Additionally, he spent 4 years with a national award winning training team at Barclays.

In his 2 years at Capita Learning & Development Lee has worked with a number of organisations on a range of training solutions for their staff.
A very personable trainer, Lee provides a relaxed training environment for his delegates ensuring all feel able to contribute to group activities.

With proven experience in evaluating major training programmes, he understands the need for commercial payback on training.

Ailsa Sutcliffe is an experienced manager and learning consultant with over 15 years’ experience in developing and delivering learning solutions across the UK. Her style is that of facilitator; she generates ownership and commitment within the group that she is working with. Ailsa gets the best out of participants through a participative approach. She encourages them to plan how they can apply the theory in the workplace. With a strong belief in the value that individuals contribute to an organisation, Ailsa provides the opportunity and environment for individuals to recognise their potential to achieve results.  

Ailsa also helps clients to design and introduce new policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of Performance management, 360° Feedback and Team briefing.

John Elloway studied Drama and Education at Central School of Speech and Drama, he then moved into a successful sales career transposing his communication and presentation skills into the business environment. He then moved into the training arena, working for a highly successful training provider recognised by the National Training Awards for the standard and quality of training provided

John is an energetic and dynamic learning consultant; his delivery style is shaped by a strong belief in delegate participation and accelerated learning techniques. John’s key strengths lie in his ability to design and deliver engaging training that relies on a ‘do’ rather than ‘watch’ methodology that in turn enthuses delegates to not only embrace new concepts but also act upon them once back in the work environment.

Sara Nanayakkara is a CIPD qualified Learning Consultant with has 11 years multidisciplinary training experience in the hospitality, retail, corporate and public sector. Having worked as both front line and managerial level she is able to bring experience from all areas of work and the current issues facing the workplace to her programmes.

Sara’s style is contemporary and engaging making genuine connections with delegates at all levels of seniority. Sara firmly believes the key to the retention of knowledge is in the enjoyment of the delivery and strives to innovate in this direction. Sara is Capita's accredited  trainer for "Insights"  - a personality profiling tool which helps individuals to understand themselves, develop their interpersonal skills to enable them to adapt and connect with others.

Tom Tamati is a dynamic and methodical learning consultant with over ten years of management and training experience.  He has worked with national and international organisations in both private and public sectors.

From training in 1995, Tom moved into recruitment and later, organisational development.  Since then he’s been involved in general HR and management development. 

Whilst at Capita Learning & Development, Tom has worked with a number of organisations on a range of training solutions for their staff.  Tom was recently engaged in a business transformation project with a local authority.  This involved designing and delivering IT systems (SAP) and skills training to its core work streams: HR, Finance, Supplier & Customer Relationship Management and Real Estate.
Tom’s delivery style involves facilitation and accelerated learning techniques, designed to maximise interaction and learning.

James Rose is a consultant within the Managed Services Team. He has been with Capita Learning & Development for two and a half years and worked with many high profile clients and on large scale projects. Clients include Volkswagen Financial services, G4S, Harrow Council and Schering Plough.

James has always enjoyed a career in learning and development, having started out in the contact centre industry and then into consultancy. He has experience of both public and private sector organisations in the UK and in Europe.

When you meet James, you'll find he is friendly and open and will always try and encourage delegate input to ensure his courses are as tailored to individual needs as much as possible. His training courses are fun and energetic with lots of practical and user friendly techniques for you to implement in your workplace for a successful future.

Rupert Salter has extensive experience

David Kennaway is a MCIPD qualified learning consultant with 15 years experience of training and development working as a training manager for major Blue chip companies He has a wealth of experience in management development and front line customer facing training.
 
David uses NLP in the training room to influence delegates and has a strong belief that training should make a substantial difference to delegates and their organisations. Training concepts should be demystified to make common sense, be easy to understand and applied in the workplace.

Claire Turnbull has extensive training experience in both public and private sectors; including Heart of England Training and Enterprise Council, BBC, BOC Edwards, Barclays, Blackwells Publishing and Volkswagen Financial Services (UK).

With of experience in the design and
delivery of innovative development programmes.  She is dedicated to making measurable improvements to the performance of individuals
and groups at work; this is achieved through her understanding that people learn in different ways. 

Her focus is on practical application of learning to the roles that individuals are in and ensuring that learning is transferred into the workplace.  Claire adopts a facilitative approach and is experienced
in managing training projects end to end.

David Chivers began his early career in a commercial environment, working for a number of years as a Recruitment Consultant to accountancy firms in the North West region. Following a successful period he moved organisations to further his sales career before undertaking his
first step in management for a leading industry specialist.

After 2 years as a Business Manager David moved into the training arena, working for a highly successful training provider that was recognised by the National Training Awards for the standard and quality of training provided. Now based in the North-West David provides trainingin a number
of sectors including; Sales, Customer Service, Management and Interpersonal Skills.

Duncan Gotobed is a professionally qualified trainer with over 10 years of experience of designing and delivering innovative training programmes, which combine leading business thinking with a highly participative approach.

He is a skilled facilitator and coach, who is able to gain ownership and commitment from both individuals and groups by focusing on how they can apply what they have learnt to the workplace. Duncan also creates an environment that enables participants to willingly contribute and share their knowledge/experience with each other.

Rachel Blakesley is a lively and enthusiastic Certificate in Training Practice qualified deliverer. With a facilitative learner centred style,  Rachel encourages understanding and the transfer of learning through delegate participation and workplace context.

With 20 years experience in the banking sector prior to moving to Capita Learning & Development in July 2006, Rachel has developed and delivered a wide range of programmes tailored to the needs of office professionals, first line management, sales advisors and contact centre personnel, including Performance management and induction training.

David Soloman joined Capita L&D in July 2006, having spent six months working on the London Borough of Harrow SAP/Contact Centre project.

A trainer since 1980, David is a firm believer in simplicity, creativity and interaction;  his courses are good-humoured, participative and behavioural.

David's training career began at Barclays Bank,  he was Training Manager during a ten year spell  at Reed Personnel, and, whilst freelancing, was an Associate Trainer for both Reed Training and Huthwaite International.

One of his highlights is the design and delivery of an induction training programme to the Parking Services industry: the effectiveness of which was recognised by a National Training Award for his client.

Brian Bridges is a very experienced learning consultant with over 20 years experience of designing and delivering training solutions across the UK. He has worked with a wide range of organisations in both public and private sectors, including Government Departments, the AA, Kerry Foods, Manchester University, National Weights and Measures Laboratory, Cheshire Police and many more. He also has extensive management experience with over 10 years in various management positions in the clothing industry.

He has a down to earth, highly participative style, believing that training should be enjoyed not endured. As a result, his sessions tend to be relaxed and informal, but still remain focused on the desired outcomes. He enjoys a reputation for providing practical, no frills solutions, whilst encouraging individuals to identify how they can significantly contribute to the success of their organisations

Brian has helped clients to design and introduce policies and procedures particularly in the areas of Performance management, Absence management, Discipline and grievance, Recruitment and selection and Team briefing. A particular highlight has been the designing and running of Development Centres for managers using both personality and leadership profiling, which led to participants producing personal development plans, followed by series of modular courses to meet needs identified during and following the events.
